Discuss the project
We begin with your property, your ideas, and what matters most about the home. This conversation helps establish whether CRB is the right fit and defines the proposed scope.
How we work
Every project is different, but the sequence holds. At each stage you'll know what's being decided, how you're involved and what you'll receive.
01
We begin with your property, your ideas, and what matters most about the home. This conversation helps establish whether CRB is the right fit and defines the proposed scope.
02
We visit the property and review relevant site constraints to identify opportunities and considerations that will influence the design.
03
Initial plans and design studies explore the home's layout, form, and character. We explain the thinking behind the proposals so you can give informed feedback.
04
We develop the agreed direction, working through the spaces and details with you. Revisions and additional work follow the scope established for your project.
05
The approved design is developed into the drawings included in your engagement, with relevant builder and consultant input coordinated as required.
Who does what
Engineers and surveyors are engaged independently. CRB can help facilitate their involvement and coordinate relevant information where agreed. Municipal applications are submitted by the client or their appointed representative. Consultant coordination and construction-stage support are defined in the project scope. Energy advising and assessments are provided by an independent energy advisor. CRB can incorporate the advisor's supplied requirements into the drawings where agreed.
